Photo Contest
Breckenridge Convention & Visitors Bureau is thrilled to announce our inaugural Stephens County, Texas Photography Contest!
GIVE US YOUR BEST SHOT(S)!
Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or an enthusiastic hobbyist, this is your chance to showcase your creativity and talent.
Select your favorite historic landmark, building, architectural detail, or any other subject that portrays Stephens County Texas' local heritage and enter the contest for a $250 grand prize.
Chosen submissions will appear in the 2026 Boomtown Breckenridge Calendar! There will be one grand prize winner ($250) that will be featured on the cover of the calendar and cover page of the CVB's Facebook page.
All FALL entries will be showcased at the Breckenridge Fine Arts Center's main entry wall from January 15th - March 15th, 2025.
A SPRING and SUMMER contest will be in 2025 for the 2026 BOOMTOWN BRECKENRIDGE CALENDAR.
CONTEST GUIDELINES
$10 Entry Fee
• Entries can be delivered in print (8”X10”, unmatted, unframed, matte paper) to the Breckenridge Fine Arts Center, 207 N. Breckenridge Ave., Breckenridge, Texas or mailed to the same address by Friday, November 29, 2024. Entries received after this date will not be considered.
• If you would like to submit photos digitally, please email them to info@breckenridgefineart.org
• Subject matter includes, but is not limited to, buildings, landscapes, architectural features, landmarks, representative events, etc. located in Breckenridge or Stephens County Texas.
• AI GENERATED IMAGES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED INTO THE CONTEST
• Horizontal, full color photographs only.
• There is a $10 entry fee for up to 3 photographs. Multiple entries are allowed. Each photograph must have its own entry form taped to the back of the photo. If submitting digitally, please fill out the form completely.
• Photographs must be labeled as specified on the entry form.
• All photographs must be original work and the applicant must own the right to distribute the image.
• If the image is not the correct size, the BCVB or BFAC will resize the image at their discretion.
• By submitting a photograph to this contest applicant agrees to grant the Breckenridge Conventions and Visitors Bureau use of your photograph royalty-free to reproduce and utilize the photograph submitted for any purpose including but not limited to publication in print and digital media. Entrants further grant the Breckenridge Conventions and Visitors Bureau the right to use and publish their names for publicity in connection with this contest. Photo credit will be given to photographers.
• Selections will be based on content, quality and artistry of photos. Winning photographs will appear in the 2025 Boomtown Breckenridge Calendar. There will be one grand prize winner ($250) that will be featured on the cover of the calendar. A second place winner will be awarded $100 and a third place winner will be awarded $50.
• All entries will be showcased at the Breckenridge Fine Arts Center Photo Contest Exhibit.
